Easter, or Resurrection Sunday as it is also called, is a holiday which commemorates the Lord Jesus’ resurrection that occurred three days after He was crucified upon the cross. In order to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus the believers all over the world hold celebrations on the day of Easter.
